Tapestry - Youth Inside Opera

Cathy joined the Youth Inside Opera team in 2012 and became lead artist in 2014.  The program teamed with City Hope in St. Jamestown from 2012 - 2017 and relocated to West Neighbourhood House in 2018 - 2019.  Youth Inside Opera offered children an opportunity to explore singing, music composition, movement and visual art.  The workshop culminated in an original performance piece presented to family and friends.  Guest artists included Hussein Janmohamed, Ella Cooper, Pat Broms, Javid Jah, Eva Taveres, Marcia Johnson, Thomas Morgan Jones,  Anusree Roy, Balu Balllistic, David Yee and Sharon Bajer.
